Teenager Justin Bieber documented a weekend with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in a video that remains on his official YouTube channel 15 years later.

The video, titled ‘Justin Bieber’s 48 Hours with Diddy [sic]’, is gaining new attention online as Diddy, 54, is behind bars following a recent arrest on sex trafficking charges and amid renewed speculation about his lavish, celebrity-filled parties.

On November 10, 2009 – the day the video was posted on Bieber’s YouTube channel – Diddy had just celebrated his 40th birthday. Bieber was just 15 and still a rising star, just a week away from the release of his debut EP, My World .

The two-minute clip shows Diddy gifting the teenager a luxury car. “As soon as you turn 16, I’m going to let you drive this whenever you want,” Diddy says, presenting Bieber with the lavish gift. “When you’re 16, you’re ready,” he tells the young singer, licking his lips. “When you’re 18, you’re going to have a house. You’re going to have a mansion.”

The rapper then told viewers that Bieber was about to embark on “48 Hours with Diddy.” “We can’t say where we’re hanging out or what we’re doing, but it’s a 15-year-old’s dream. I got custody of the kid,” Diddy claimed. “He signed with Usher — I had legal custody of Usher when he was making his first album. I don’t actually have legal custody of the kid (Bieber), but for the next 48 hours, he’s with me. And we’re gonna go crazy for money,” he continued.

Diddy then asked Bieber what he wanted to do for the next 48 hours, to which the teen replied, “Let’s hang out with some girls.” “A man in my opinion – that’s what I’m talking about,” Diddy said as the pair shook hands and walked away from the camera.

The nearly 15-year-old video has attracted renewed attention in recent months due to the mounting allegations against Diddy, with one recent YouTube comment reading:

“This has been going on in the open for 14 years and no one has questioned it until now, it’s crazy,” another commented, while a third added: “The chilling fear of not knowing what happened after the cameras stopped rolling.”

“Forty-eight hours with Diddy sounds like a horror movie,” another said.

Bieber’s former mentor Usher was just 14 when he moved in with Diddy, then in his mid-20s, for a year while he worked on his debut album in the early 1990s.

“I went there to see the lifestyle and I saw it,” Usher revealed in a 2016 interview with The Howard Stern Show . “And it was… But I don’t know if I could sink in and understand what I was seeing. It was pretty wild. It was crazy.”

When the host pressed him for more details, Usher revealed that “there were some very strange things going on, and I didn’t necessarily understand it.”

Bieber, who recently became a father for the first time, reportedly had no intention of getting involved in the media frenzy surrounding Diddy’s sex trafficking and sexual assault lawsuit.

“He knew about Diddy’s arrest and all the allegations,” a source told People. “However, that’s not something he wants to focus on,” they added, adding that Bieber, 30, has been living in a “bubble of happiness” since the birth of his son Jack, whom he shares with wife Hailey.

However, last week it was reported that Bieber had “secluded himself from the world” following the notorious mobster’s arrest, the insider claimed.

“Bieber was very upset by the Diddy news and didn’t want to process it or discuss it so he shut down,” an insider told the Daily Mail. “A lot of the people who helped make him who he is today were very close to Diddy and it has completely confused him. Justin hasn’t responded to this since the house raid. He won’t.”

The insider added that Bieber regrets working with the star last year.

“He had a long time apart from Diddy when he believed most of this happened, and he distanced himself from Diddy. He appeared on Diddy’s last album, and if he knew anything about this, he never would have done it.”

Court documents obtained by TMZ ahead of Combs’ trial show Diddy has been charged with conspiracy to commit extortion; sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and transport to engage in prostitution. In a statement, Combs’ lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, condemned the arrest of his client. “We are disappointed with the decision of the United States Attorney’s Office to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs,” he said. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a musical icon, a self-made businessman, a loving family man and a proven philanthropist who has spent the past 30 years building an empire, loving his children and working to uplift the black community.”

Combs’ downfall began in November 2023 when his ex-girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie, filed a lawsuit against the rap mogul, accusing him of sexual harassment and physical abuse throughout their 10-year relationship. The two exes settled the lawsuit the following day.
